Today, we’re reliving Jimmy & Emily’s Catholic Church ceremony and NEO on Locust reception!

You know a wedding day is going to be great when it starts out with a story about the bride and groom being set up by family members! Emily’s mom and Jimmy’s aunt had a feeling that the two of them would be perfect together … and, it turns out, mom is always right!

Emily is the kind of person you instantly want to be best friends with after spending five minutes with her. Seriously. She is SO beyond kind, incredibly funny (she had our whole vendor crew cracking up all. day. long.), and she and Jimmy together are truly the perfect couple! If I could relive this day over and over again I absolutely would!

We started their day getting ready with family and friends. Emily and her dad shared an emotional first look together when he saw her in her dress for the first time. Jimmy and Emily opted to not see each other before the ceremony but they did exchange notes the morning of the wedding and holy moly!! I’m pretty sure Jimmy wrote the sweetest and most impressive letter I’ve ever heard. There was not a dry eye around when Emily read it!

The ceremony was a traditional Catholic wedding. It was beautiful and their commitment to each other was so evident and beautiful to see! Sacred Heart Church is magnificent and was so fun to photograph!

These two absolutely adore each other and it is beyond evident that they are perfect for each other! One of the highlights (always!! y’all know my love for sunsets!) was golden hour on the rooftop at NEO. It was absolutely magical and will forever be some of my favorite moments of the day!! Not only are Jimmy and Emily incredibly kind, but their families were so hospitable and welcoming to us!! They made everyone feel so special on THEIR wedding day and it was a gift to be a part of!!
