Newborn & Maternity

There is something uniquely special & sacred about those newborn days! I offer individual sessions and collections including both newborn and maternity options. My newborn sessions are documented with a lifestyle approach and take place at your home or my studio in Lake Saint Louis. Maternity sessions typically happen around 32-36 weeks at the location of your choosing. Please reach out and we'll talk about more details!

Reach out to me in your second or third trimester and we will get your due date on my calendar. Once baby arrives, let me know and we will officially schedule your session. I recommend newborn sessions take place within the first 7-14 days of birth, if possible.
01. When should we schedule our newborn session?
This is entirely up to you, although I'm happy to help with ideas! I think shaking things up year to year is such a fun idea. I would love to come to your home and photograph y'all baking cookies, reading books, etc., or we can go to a local park and play + explore outside! You truly can't go wrong.
02. Should we do an in home or outdoor family session?
Listen Momma - don't you worry. Your littles will run the show, but it's in all of our best interests not to fight them but to embrace the chaos. Play with them, let them run around - it's okay! These actually create the best moments. We will absolutely get smiling at the camera photos, but my focus will be interaction and genuine moments with your family.
03. I'm worried my kids won't cooperate
You will always receive an online gallery of high resolution images, printable up to a 20x30 along with printing rights. The amount of images you receive is dependent on the collection you choose & I would love to send you more details after you inquire!
04. WHat is included in your collections?
I offer shorter length sessions throughout the year if you feel like that's the best fit for your family. I also offer discounted mini session days in the spring and fall each year. I will always post info for these on Instagram, so be sure to follow along to be the first to know details.
05. Do you offer mini sessions?
Your full gallery of photos will be ready to download, print & share within 4-6 weeks of your session. But don't you worry - you will absolutely see sneak peeks before the full gallery releases, typically within a few days. No way I'll have you waiting that long to see photos!
