Cedarhurst Center for the Arts Wedding in Mt. Vernon, Illinois

This classy wedding is sure to leave you inspired!

Dalton and Rachel said, “I do” at the most lovely modern wedding ceremony at Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. You’re sure to love this emotional, stunning day from the weepy father of the bride and the incredible convertible (that belonged to Dalton’s dad!) we were able to use throughout the day! I first met Rachel five years ago when I shot her sister’s wedding back in 2016!! It was such a blast coming full circle and celebrating with this incredible family all over again. I truly adore these incredible people!!

We start out with lovely details, including handwritten vow books. Dalton and Rachel wrote each other letters to read before seeing each other and their personal touch was so sweet. They then shared a first look among the trees. If you want to know why you should have a first look, you should take a look at this blog post! I will forever be a fan of first looks!

Then the fun really started as I captured Dalton and Rachel with the gorgeous backdrop of Cedarhurst Center for the Arts! These photos turned out perfectly elegant and modern. I loved their use of confetti in their wedding photos, it was such a fun special touch that brought a pop of joy to their day. We ended their day with sparklers and sailing off into the sunset in their bright red convertible – talk about an exit!

This whole day was full of the loveliest, kindest people. Dalton and Rachel put so much thought and intention into their day and I know you’ll love taking a look at their summer wedding. Big fans of these cuties and an even bigger fan of them being MARRIED!! The happiest!!!
