Every time I sit down to write a blog post and reflect on the moments of a wedding day, I’m simply blown away. That I have the priveledge to step inside of a story – of two people whose world’s collided to become one – and document those one of a kind, joy-filled moments… wow. It’s such a gift. And that’s exactly what Luke and Caitlin’s day was to everyone involved – a treasured gift. These two have the most incredible story and the sweetness of them coming together as one can only be attributed to the Lord. These two not only love one another so deeply, but they have an abiding love for Jesus that is the glue that sticks them together. Luke passionately adores Caitlin with every ounce of his being. Caitlin loves Luke with a tender, abiding, forever kind of love. But I know that both of them would say without a shadow of a doubt that they love because Jesus loved them first. That is an incredible thing to witness.

The joy and excitement that permeated their entire day was contagious. I couldn’t help but be over the moon excited that these guys were getting married – I mean, how could you not?! Aren’t they the most precious? These two aren’t just amazing people, but also incredible photographers as well! People often ask me if it’s scary or nerve-wracking to shoot another photographer’s wedding, let alone two! But the truth is that it’s almost easier because they “get” it! They get just as excited as you do about sunset photos and have the same “oh my gosh, that light!!” response as you. ;) Definitely can’t complain there!! I’m so glad I was able to make the trip up for their Bloomington, Illinois wedding! I was absolutely in LOVE with their details – can we just talk about Caitlin’s bouquet?! Oh my goodness!! All these little elements and details come together to make such a sweet and stunning day for these two! Caitlin and Luke – it was such a honor to celebrate with you two! Thank you SO much for your joy, your love, and your passion for loving others and one another. I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you do together!!
