Sometimes it’s difficult to put experiences into words because they were just that good. This past weekend was one for the books and I’m so grateful for the all amazing things it held! Courtney Smith Photography have been planning and dreaming this into reality for months now and watching it come to fruition was such a GIFT! Gathering these nine incredible ladies all together to learn about the ins and outs of photography and running your own business was so much greater than we ever could have imagined. Though thoroughly exhausted by the end of the day, our hearts were so full and overjoyed to see where these world-changers go! I’m still so humbled that each of these women came to learn from us and can’t believe it’s already over. As we got in the car to head to dinner, Courtney and I looked at each other and said “that just happened!!!”. Holy moly, what a whirlwind! We dove into everything from shooting in manual and understanding your camera (so that you can rock *any* light situation!) to taxes and handling difficult business situations! Mid-day we headed out to photograph the sweetest couple for our styled shoot and it couldn’t have been more amazing!! Are they not absolutely stunning?! Petal Pushers STL put together our incredible bouquet and I’m so obsessed! Each lady walked away with brand new head shots and the tools they need to take the next bigs steps in pursuit of their passion! All nine of you – THANK YOU for trusting us to come to our first ever workshop!! I love all of you so much and I cannot wait to see where you go! Stay humble, hustle hard, and go make your beautiful dreams happen!
