This session holds such a special place in my heart for so many reasons! Ashlynne and I have been friends since the spring of 2013 when we met in the Denver airport on our way to Washington! So much life has passed since then, but our friendship has never changed. Ever since we first met, we connected on a level so much deeper than the surface. Her passionate and joyful personality, abiding love for the Lord, and exuberance for life inspires me. She’s been a friend I can always trust to support me, challenge me in my faith, and speak truth at the times when I desperately need to hear it. That being said, boys have always been a topic of conversation between us – because, let’s be honest, it’s just a part of life! I’ve watched this sweet friend of mine wait patiently, diligently, and expectantly for God’s very best – and I truly believe that Robert is just that for her. It was the greatest gift for me to meet this man that has captured her heart – not only with his charming personality, but with his strong and abiding love for Christ. I was so blessed to have the opportunity to photograph this sweet season of their life while I was visit this past weekend. Robert and Ashlynne were the best adventurers and tour guides around Charleston! We enjoyed some delicious lunch at Eli’s Kitchen, and then explored downtown Charleston stopping at the prettiest locations for photos! (Not pictured – the torrential downpour of rain, flooded streets, and massive humidity! Always an adventure!) Getting to spend time with these two as a couple and capture their joy was such a gift! I’m so thankful for such incredible friends and an even greater God that gives us these sweet blessings! Robert and Ashlynne – thanks for being such fabulous models and even better friends!! :) I cannot wait to see where the Lord takes the two of you together. Y’all are my favorite!!
