There aren’t many words to describe people like Emily. Her heart is as pure as gold and it pours forth wisdom and grace and love to every person she meets. Her joy is her crown – and it was a blessing to have the opportunity to capture the beautiful woman that God uniquely created her to be. Over these past few months she’s been one of my dearest friends that always points me back to Jesus.

In May I spent some time with Emily and her family (and shot her brother’s wedding… which will be coming soon!) and one evening we drove up the mountain and photographed our heart’s out. And I may have taken some of my favorite photos ever. So here is my gem of a friend in the mountains of Washington. One of my favorite places with one of my favorite people. I’m basically in love with the Pacific Northwest… you might be too after these. ;)
