I’ve been looking so forward to this day ever since I met these two last summer, but I had no idea what a gift it would be when I first booked Alex and Sydney’s wedding. Over the course of the past year Sydney and I have had the chance to get together several times, and though our main topic of conversation was always “supposed” to be about work related things, we always ended up chatting for hours about Jesus, marriage, the ins and outs of life – and everything in between. This girl has been an absolute treasure to me, which made her wedding day that much more of a joy!
And let’s just say that the man that sweet Sydney chose to be her husband MUST be a keeper. Alex adores Sydney – in the most tender, beautiful, and caring way. Witnessing the way they love one another was a gift in itself. There were countless testimonies on their day of instances where their loved ones *knew* that they were meant to be together. Needless to say, I cried more than a few times on Saturday!!
Sydney and her girls got ready at the most darling little cabin tucked right in the middle of downtown Washington. It couldn’t have been a more perfect place for them to spend their morning!! We snagged a few getting ready photos of the guys at their hotel and then headed to the park for all of their portraits! I swear that the Lord gave these guys THE most beautiful June day – high of 79 and no humidity does not happen in Missouri!
Every little detail of this day was absolutely flawless and I couldn’t have been more honored to be a part. Alex & Sydney, thank you. Thank you for inviting me into the intimate & incredible moments of your day – but most of all being such lights and loving one another so well. It’s a gift to know you two and I am so excited for what your future holds together! Enjoy a peek into your gorgeous day! xoxo
