Oh friends, today is a really special day on the blog!! I’m so excited to share Eric and Ryan and their sweet story! I had the absolute honor of photographing these sweethearts almost two weeks ago in Texas at the White Sparrow Barn while attending Trio! Let me tell you – these guys had such a long day but were absolute troopers through it all! We were all so thankful not only for the incredible love that they share, but their hearts of absolute gold! Over the course of the day while talking with the two of them, I had the joy of hearing some of their love story and y’all – all I can say is that Jesus is just so good! These two had met long before they started dating… but they didn’t really MEET and catch each other’s attention until two years ago. Once they started dating, they knew almost immediately that they had met their best friend. Their person. Doesn’t the Lord give such good gifts?! These guys were married a year ago this month, but you would never know. Even just in the day we spent with them, you couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the giddy but foundational love these two share. It was fresh – but steady. Full of joy – but rock solid. The kind of love that every couple dreams of developing over the course of their lifetime together.

So let’s just say that photographing them was an absolute dream. “All you need is love” … and it couldn’t be more true, especially when it comes to photographing sweet couples.

I am just obsessed with these cakes!! Apparently caramel drizzle on your wedding cake is a new trend for 2017… and even though I’m not a big trend girl, I might have to hop on this bandwagon. I absolutely love these!!
