Elise and I talked for the first time on the phone last fall – and friends, let me tell you – this girl has a heart of gold. We seriously talked about everything under the sun and I knew from our first conversation that she was going to be SUCH an incredible bride to have as a part of this year!! We’ve been planning their Jefferson City engagement session ever since – so this day had been a long time coming!!
Missouri weather has been incredibly finicky lately – it’s been raining off and on and I was hoping at best the rain would stay away and it wouldn’t be too overcast and dark. But let me tell you – sometimes the unpredictable weather works in your favor! We ended up with the most beautiful, sunny 60 degree evening for their session and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We did all of their photos on Jordan’s family property which I absolutely LOVED. How special is it that they will get to not only show these images to their kids & grandkids – but tell them all about this place that meant so much to them. So amazing! Not to mention these two hopped in a CANOE at sunset and seriously made my photographer dreams come true! I just love it when my couples are up for an adventure!!
I absolutely adore these two and cannot wait to celebrate with them September!! You KNOW two people are amazing together when they spend the majority of their lives laughing together. There’s truly nothing better!! Jordan and Elise – thank you for being such rockstars in front of the camera! I think y’all made my job a little too easy. ;) Counting down the months until your big day!!
