It’s hard to put into words something so incredible just a mere two days after it took place, but here we are! If I had to think of one word to describe the On Purpose Workshop, it would be a blessing. At random little moments during the day I would think, “MAN, what a gift this is to be gathered here with this incredible ladies!”. Truly, each and every one of our attendees are so talented and kind and having them at our workshop was an incredible honor. Seriously, just look at them! They’re pretty great. ;) It’s always a joy to be able to talk about our businesses, the joys and the complete failures, and what it looks like to persevere no matter what. There’s not much I love more than that!
Courtney (from Courtney Smith Photography) and I put a lot of heart and effort into making this something we too would love if we were attending a workshop! We ordered custom journals from Paper Case Studio that were embossed with our logo in copper on the front… I know – I’m obsessed! Our sweet friends over at Happy Camper Clothing Co. printed our amazing t-shirts for us (designed by Courtney! she’s kind of the best!) and we were thrilled with how they turned out. So soft and comfy! We also loved partnering with Honeybook and Blogstomp as our sponsors and they provided our girls with swag bags and all kinds of fun goodies! I truly couldn’t run my business without Honeybook as my client management system or blog hardly ever without Blogstomp, so I loved having the opportunity to share about these businesses with the girls! Oh, and last but not least, our venue for the workshop was at Long Row Lavender in Wright City, MO and goodness – it was absolutely PERFECT!! All those white walls make my heart so happy!
Halfway through the day we headed right outside on the property for headshots and the styled shoot! How stunning are each of these ladies?! Love them!!
A little behind the scenes!
You might recognize our stunning models, Matthew and Alaina!! I had the joy of photographing their wedding in May, and it was SO fun to get them in front of my camera again! Plus they were the most PERFECT couple for the job! So laid back and so gorgeous! Loads more images of these two will be coming soon!
Shooting through the crowd! ;)
Courtney and I are looking a little hot, but it was all so worth it!!
Yay!!! Love this sweet shot Alaina grabbed of our whole group!! I just have so much love for all of these amazing women!
And that’s a wrap! I still can’t believe after all of that planning and prep, it’s actually over! Two workshops in one year was nothing that Courtney and I ever could have anticipated, but I know that we would both say that it’s been the biggest joy and honor. We are so, so thankful and so incredibly blessed.
If you want to be the first to know when the next workshop dates are announced, feel free to head to our website and shoot us an email through the contact form and we’ll get you on the list!!
A huge thank you to all of our incredible vendors that make this possible! We are SO grateful to each and every one of you!!
