Over the past few years it’s been such a blessing to watch my friends meet incredible men, get married, and start their new adventure together as husband and wife!! It’s such a joy to my heart to watch them grow + blossom in the joy of this sweet season and work alongside their husbands to become better versions of themselves. I had the honor standing next to Brit just over a year ago as she married Caleb and they began this new journey together! These guys are some of the most dedicated people I’ve ever met. Over the past year not only have they gone into business together, but they now offer custom photography and videography packages for couples on their wedding day and are KILLING IT. No, seriously, you guys!! Their videos are absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to have them film my own wedding someday (get excited, guys!! ;))! They flew me up to Minnesota this past weekend to help shoot a wedding since Caleb was on double duty as a videographer and groomsmen, so we HAD to sneak in some headshots and anniversary photos while I was there!! I’ve done quite a few sessions with Caleb and Brittney before, but they somehow always seem to be thrown together in the last 15 minutes of sunlight. It never fails! So the fact that we had an entire hour for portraits was so exciting!! Brit and I found the most incredible location prior to their session, and we headed out after dinner Sunday night to celebrate one whole year of marriage for these two!! I am obsessed with how these turned out!! We couldn’t have had a more incredible location, gorgeous light, or stunning couple (obviously!). So thankful for these guys and the opportunity to capture their sweet love!! One year down and a lifetime ahead!! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for you all! (PS – you have to go check out their website and see their incredible work!!)
Had to throw in a fun behind the scenes dancing photos! Haha!
I was obsessed with shooting through these awesome thistles that covered the side of the road! Apparently these are a normal thing around Minnesota, but they were pretty epic to this girl from Missouri!
I’m all about some fallen trees!
Thanks for such an amazing session, you two!! Can’t wait for next year!
Much love,
Jessica Lauren
