I first met Haley early last fall at our college and career life group where we quickly bonded over our mutual love for photographer! Fast forward a few months to November where she was assisting me with a wedding… I had suspicions that Hayden would be proposing soon and (ever so slyly) dug for information about Haley’s thoughts on when it would be taking place, what her dream wedding would look like – the works! ;) Well, a mere week later they were engaged and the planning began!! I was so incredibly honored and excited when Haley texted me and asked if I would be their wedding photographer and have been anxiously awaiting their big day ever since!! These two are absolutely precious together and I am SO excited for this new adventure that are committing to and embarking on! The week before the wedding we were all faithfully checking the forecast that changed from sunny, to slight change of showers, to all day rain and thunderstorms! Of course, no bride wants it to rain on their wedding day, but Haley was SUCH a trooper and had the best attitude about it all!! No sooner had I arrived at their venue that morning that the rain began – and hard! We had backup plans but were all praying that somehow and in someway it would clear up for portrait time!! Let’s just say Jesus was definitely listening, because at 3pm when the forecast said 90% chance of rain – the sun came out!! God is so good! But goodness am I thankful for clients who are willing to take a chance even when the forecast says we shouldn’t! ;) We ended the day with all of their family and friends gathering around them and praying over their oh so new and sweet marriage. How perfect is that?! Hayden and Haley – your day was absolutely beautiful but your love for one another even more so!! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am for you two and how blessed I was to share in this incredible day!! I love you guys and know you have great things in store!! ENJOY your blog post!! ;)
