Looking at Tyler and Jena’s story of how they came together (and how we connected with one another) it’s so evident that the Lord orchestrates and cares about everything little detail of our lives. This past Christmas, I was in Kansas City visiting extended family and everyone decided they were going to see the new Star War’s movie. As enticing as that sounded… I decided to head over to the closest Starbucks to squeeze in a few hours of work instead. ;) I sat down with my americano and began editing when two girls behind me spoke up and said, “This is a really weird question, but are you a wedding photographer? Your photos are so pretty!” Come to find out, this darling girl sitting behind me doing a Bible study was recently engaged and planning her wedding for April! Long story short – here I am four months later photographing and blogging her beautiful wedding day! How crazy and awesome is that?! Tyler and Jena’s wedding was nothing short of a blessing to everyone involved – and I’m so glad the Lord saw fit to open the doors for me to have the joy of being present on their day.
We started off the day in Downtown Springfield at the darling Pin-up Salon. Jena had the most gracious and stunning ladies standing beside her! Their love and joy for Jena was overwhelming and contagious – everyone was SO excited to see these two married!!
I was absolutely in love with Tyler and Jena’s venue!! The Round Barn on Clear Creek was the perfect backdrop for her gorgeous dress!
