I'm a wedding photographer living outskirts of St. Louis with my sweet husband! When I'm not hanging with my amazing couples, you can catch me whipping up some delicious food or perusing the local thrift store for some finds.

I’m blessed. Just looking back on these past two weeks, I see the Lord at work in great and mighty ways. So many prayers have been answered, and I’m in awe of God’s faithfulness. He always seems to baffle any human plans or thoughts that I could ever have, and boy am I grateful for that.
Life is full and busy. Lots of fabulous sessions to blog, a really, (really) fun secret project to be revealed, and some happy days ahead. So here are some ramblings and random things; bits and pieces of what life has looked like lately.
My sweet friend, Hannah Elise featured me on her blog! She did a little Q&A and I had such a wonderful time sitting down and mulling over each question. Jeremiah 31:21 says this, “Set up road markers for yourself; make yourself guideposts; consider well the highway, the road by which you went.” and I believe that verse is such a perfect reminder for me during this time. Remember where you’ve come from. Remember what God has done for you. Remember His faithfulness. And those questions helped me remember where I was last year and where I am now, and it was so good for me.
I added a sweet little friend to my camera bag – an 85mm 1.8! To say I’m thrilled would be an understatement. It’s so beautiful. Paired with a new external hard drive, it was quite a fabulous birthday! (oh yeah, I’m another year older! woo! I had great aspirations to write an inspiring, monumental blog post. As you can see, it didn’t happen. Shoutout to seventeen for starting off on a great note! ;) Also, what kind of nerd buys an external hard drive for herself with her birthday money? That would be me.)
Albums. Oh dear… my latest and greatest obsession. Clients… you NEED these in your life. In your home. On your coffee table. Full post with my enamored opinion will be coming soon!
Stamps. I bought a stamp with my wonderful logo from the always fabulous Typeset Design, and it’s probably one of the greatest purchased I’ve ever made. Hello adorable packaging. I’m a fan of beautiful things.
The Delight & Be blog, y’all. You need to go read it and then check back everyday because there are some amazing posts that are published daily! I also have the honor of posting with my sweet friend Megan in a new section called {Be Devoted}. So excited to see where God takes Delight and couldn’t be more thrilled to be apart!
My incredible, inspiring, challenging, Jesus-loving friend Emily is coming to visit THIS WEEKEND! I’m a little bit excited! I love having my own business, but it seems like there is never time “off” or “away” from even thinking about everything. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be taking time to focus on something other than school and work, and sharing life with this girl. She’s also taking my senior pictures, so that’s fun. ;) I’m sure many pictures will be heading this way from this adventure. It might just be the best weekend ever.

It’s fall! Oh my heart… this is my most favorite season. This image is from last year, but our trees are almost to that perfect stage. My only complaint is that I wish they lasted longer! Basically I just want to be outside taking pictures constantly. Because hello, this is incredible. (taken with my iPhone)
And with that, we have a blog post! ;) Have a blessed week, sweet friends!
