I never knew how contagious traveling and exploring would be until I flew to Washington this spring. Much to my parents dismay, this trip stirred up a new longing in my heart; to adventure, to make memories, to eat good food, to laugh and try to “fit in” with the locals, (I must say, we did a pretty good job!), and to capture one more place on this beautiful earth.
This world is BIG, and I kind of want to go everywhere.
Unfortunately, flying is rather expensive these days, but my heart aches to go adventuring with my official travel buddies (yes, Ashlynne, Alora, and Emily are officially mine.) I love these girls to pieces and they were truly a blast to explore with.
That’s what I love about God… you see, we planned this little rendezvous before we had even met. I didn’t know how old they were, how tall they were, if they were the most annoying people ever, or if they were straight up crazy. But God did. God knew exactly who these girls were and in His sovereignty, He placed them in this crazy facebook message group with me and we dreamed together. This is the part where God’s goodness shines. Because I couldn’t have picked better friends if I searched this whole wide world.
So. Enjoy their beautiful faces & some images of our delightful breakfast downtown! And yes, Seattle really does have the best coffee.
