This year has had it’s fair share of ups and downs. Yet somehow, in His amazing, mind-blowing way, God works all things for good. As I reminisce over this past year, I can’t help but feel so blessed. My eyes have been opened to things I have never been so grateful for before.
expert doctors and surgeons that removed cancer from my Dad’s chest.
clean running water that we experince here in the states.
air conditioning. Haiti is hot.
my God who is infinitely good. all the time.
parents that encourage, support, guide, and love me through everything.
siblings. life just wouldn’t be the same without them. :)
my sweet boy who is always there, and is especially good at making me smile.
the bestest friends ever. we laugh a lot. they are just awesome.
freedom to pursue my dreams and start my own business.
Godly advice from amazing people.
absolute truth from God’s word.
photographs that capture unforgettable moments.
precious, decade old memories from the mouth of my great-grandpa.
The word blessed doesn’t fully epitomize my life. My heart has been transformed through Christ, and that is what I am most thankful for today. I am not the same person I was last year. Jesus constantly chips away at and molds my heart to make me more like Him.
He is so much greater than I.
I am thankful.
Oh wow. That first picture is just stunning! Beautiful shot, Jessica. :)
What a great list of thankfulness you wrote, btw. Loved it, and totally agree with the last sentence as well. ;)
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
